• It's the same thing. The 917 KH nomenclature seems to be wrong because Porsche put its two 917 models for Le Mans 1970 : the 917 K for Kurz (short) and the 917 LH for Lang Heck (long tail) whose top speed was above 917 K but less manageable. The Porsche 917 LH is also called 917 L.
